Modified Camera Phone Buying Guide
Modified camera phones combine ordinary smartphone functions with altered camera placement or recording capabilities. Treat them as specialist equipment: compare the hardware carefully and consider privacy rules before purchase.
1. Start with resolution
4K can preserve more detail than 1080p, but larger files can consume storage faster. If your output is primarily viewed on phones or you record for long periods, 1080p may be sufficient.
2. Compare lens position
